Baseball's back!

Another beautiful (although seasonably cool) weather week here. We enjoyed a fun week at school. Wednesday was spent at the indoor pool with Miss Ginnie, Adam and Andrew. (You should see Hayley swim!) In the afternoon Cole helped mom pull weeds in the back yard. He earned 82 cents for his hard work! Saturday Cole had his first baseball game - playing for the Volcanoes this year. Got some good hits and played 3rd base, left field and catcher. I'd say the Volcanoes really smelted the Iron Birds this week! See you next week!

Cole (hard to see him, but he's there) enjoying their new favorite food...corn on the cob. (Can you believe Cole asks to eat a vegetable?)

Keeping busy on a Friday morning...

Thought you might like to see the artist at work.

This week's costume... Triceratops.

Hayley's costume...spaghettisaurus rex.

Cole at bat with Coach Will helping.

Coel prefers to sit with sis' instead of on the bench.

Cole got to play catcher in the last inning. He was having a great time heckling the other team's batters. Everyone was laughing. See you next week. Posted by Picasa

April Adventures...

Another fun week is in the books. We were especially surprised when Daddy decided to take off from work on Wednesday to spend the day at the park with us. We had a great time walking/running/riding/scooting around the lake, then had a picnic and played at the playground. It was great weather and lots of fun.

Not too much else to report for the week. We had a fun visit from Stuart, Marcy and Hayley's friend Lily on Saturday night. Cole, Hayley and Lily had fun together running loops around the house, riding in the big red car in the basement, and having their pictures taken constantly -- as is always the case around here...

Enjoy the week!

Enjoying a nice morning at the park.

Hayley poses for the camera...

Now it's Cole's turn! With flowers for mom too...

A special treat to spend a Wednesday with dad!

Score!

Hoppy Easter!

We had a fun Easter weekend. Gram and Grandad were able to come for a short visit Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and an early Easter dinner with them. Sunday was fun. The Easter bunny hid 59 eggs for Cole and Hayley to find. We had fun finding them all and playing with our baskets. Cole has spent lots of time getting better on his bike and playing with the Super Soaker the Easter bunny brought him.

Hayley is enjoying getting to wear some of her summer clothes. On Saturday she saw Mommy painting her nails and insisted she got hers painted too.... She kept saying, "Hayley toes, please (said "peeze")". It was paint her toenails or endure a fit. Now she's quite proud and shows everyone her feet and says "Look!".

All for now -- enjoy the week!

Hayley and Cole -- a pre-Easter cheeze!

Showing off bike skills for Grandad and Gram.

Drawing with chalk (notice the painted toenails...)

Drinking and hunting for eggs -- what a great multi-tasker...

Waiting for the Easter Bunny!!!

Hello! Well this week began warm and sunny and ended as if we were right back in winter again... What's up with that? Hopefully we'll return to those sunny days again soon. We started off the week getting lots of practice riding bikes...without our training wheels! (Cole, not Hayley...haha)

Wednesday we went camping. (View the pictures before you gasp at the idea of US camping...) Friday we capped off the week with a fun Milkshake concert right here in town! It was fun for Cole and Hayley to see the group in person! Enjoy the pics and get ready for some sugar-filled images next Sunday! Hop Hop!

Cole learning to ride on just 2 wheels!

This is as close as our family gets to camping. Roughing in the foyer...

Is it time for s'mores yet???

Hayley talks alot about her friends and family -- here's a little sample!

Cole and Hayley getting ready for the Milkshake concert on Friday.

Lisa and Michael and a cow named Moo....Milkshake! One of our household favorite bands!

Hayley is entranced...of course she's at least an hour past nap time, so maybe she's sleep-dancing? See you next week! Posted by Picasa

We had fun this week -- for sure!

Scroll down for new video added Monday....

We had a great week! We went with Miss Ginnie (aka "Minnie") and Adam and Andrew (aka "Anni") to Port Discovery on Wednesday. Thank goodness Miss Ginnie came prepared with her camera so we'd have photos to share.

We have also spent LOTS of time outside this week finally enjoying the weather. We spent Friday and Saturday mornings at the park with friends.

I'm going to try to post some video soon -- but it takes a while to upload...so check back tomorrow for that. Enjoy the week!

Hello from Port Discovery!

The little princess is overseeing construction of the castle at Port Discovery.

Quite a medieval crew!

Yum. Spinach lasagna is good!

Typical dinner antics...watch Hayley through this. She'll (kind-of) do the actions to the song... (OK, OK, you have to REALLY use your imagination...)

Cole and Adam posing at the park.

Hayley trying to keep her barette from blowing away!

Some park video.

Hayley and Lily on the slide at the park.

Hayley is actually yelling at this kid -- "no,no,no,no!" She's just a little bossy....

Mr. Stuart and John are tired of swinging the girls. Cole has been left in charge... Until next week! Posted by Picasa
