Havin' fun at the "beach"

Well -- today's rainy and back in the mid 50's...So we're posting this wishing for the great weather to return soon! Last week we had fun on Thursday - it was "take your kid to work day" -- so the schools were closed....hmmm... We had a great time at the park for several hours with friends. When we got home Hayley and Sammy played dress up...well Hayley played, Sammy endured. Then, Cole and Hayley had a "beach party" in the house (no, no sand was involved...).

Cole had 2 more good baseball games this week -- he gets several hits each game and is really enjoying it. Saturday we enjoyed the weather again with the first slip-n-slide bash of 2008!

Enjoy the pics!

woodstock revisted...

We've had a good couple of weeks. Two weeks ago our friends had a tie dye party and last week was tie dye day at school. See the pictures below. Everything else is about the same around here -- finally enjoying some nice weather and having lots of fun with friends as usual! Cole has two ball games this week -- so think good thoughts. Hayley has been having fun with friends including a fun picnic playdate last week with friend Chantal and fun yesterday at the pool with Megan and Mia. Today was picture day at school and ballet. This Thursday is take your kid to work day, so they've closed school...(yes, you heard that right...). I plan to put the kids to work ALL day!!! They'll never complain about school again I figure... ;)

A little sparse with the pictures, but here's two until next time.

The tie dye crew...Ben, Hayley, Patrick, Jeremy and Cole.

Mom and Hayley made matching shirts...Yes, we're weird!
Peace. (and Happy Earth Day!)

By George, I think he's got it!

Well - it's been a while since we posted. We're up to our usual antics - not too much new to report. Cole had a cute performance at school last week -- all about America. Each class in the 1st grade was a different patriotic symbol/person (i.e. Statue of Liberty, White House, Bald Eagle, Liberty Bell, etc. ) Cole's class was George Washington -- very cute tri-corner hats. They each said a little something about Washington. See pics below.

We had a nice visit from Gram and Grandad a week or so ago as well. Of course, we enjoyed a tasty dinner at the Japanese Steakhouse and a nice visit.

Hayley is continuing gymnastics and ballet these days. She's also still reluctantly attending her new school. She is warming up to it a bit, but still would rather be will her old teacher and pals instead.

We've also started baseball again this Spring. Saturday was opening day -- perfect weather and lots of fun. Too bad Cole's team lost 15-1. Not sure the kids really minded though.

Well -- we're here wishing cousin Campbell a wonderful 1st birthday!!!! We wish you a fun filled day of cake EVERYWHERE!!!! Sorry Aunt Rebekah, we know that his 367th day will include you mopping the floor. :)

The first grade classes.

Cole's class -- the Georges!

Wait, how'd she get here???

Hayley's new thing -- making faces...

The team...

The fun on opening day -- should I have allowed her to do this???
