Horsing around...

We had another fun week. We seem to finally be in a routine for the school year now. The highlight of every day for Hayley is going to the bus stop in the morning and afternoon. Saturday Cole had another soccer game against his friend Andrew's team! Sunday we went to the horse jumping competition and then spent the afternoon mourning the Steelers second loss. Hopefully they can still turn things around!

See you next week!

Hayley is ready to head to the bus stop to pick up Cole...

Silly girl.

Look what Daddy found Hayley dressing up as on Sunday...

Not too much to report...

Not too much new here. We had Cole's way too rainy soccer game on Saturday. Saturday night we had an early celebration of Daddy's birthday at the Japanese steak house... Sunday we laid low too. See you next week!!!

Sweet September

What a weekend! Saturday Cole had his first soccer game -- and scored a goal too!!! We also bought Hayley her big girl bed, but it won't arrive until October. Saturday night Cole slept over at Adam's house while we went to Lily's birthday party. Hayley had so much fun at her second Blues Clues party of the month!!! Sunday Cole attended Matthew's birthday party at Chuck E Cheeses and had a great time too. Now we all really need to eat cabbage soup for a week or two to cleanse all this sugar out of our systems...

Hayley had her 2 year old check up this morning and we were pleased to hear that she's maintaining the 25% in weight -- checking in at just over 24 pounds. She also proceeded to say: "I love your shoes!" to the doctor at the end of the visit. As you can imagine, her doctor thought this was HILARIOUS!

That's all for now -- see you next week!

Cole now asks to play goalie in soccer...

Practicing whistling -- in case the ref can't make it, I guess...

His pants are a little too big...skinny boy...

Hayley is now experienced with present opening -- so she gives Lily a hand...

The singing in the rain dog from Lily's great grandmother is a hit with the girls...

Hayley takes the opportunity to get a head start on more of Lily's gifts when she's not looking.

A cool block-train...

Getting ready to blow out the candles on the Blues Clues cake...

I'm not sure Lily is pleased that her Dad is cutting up her cake for her...

At Matthew's Chuck E Cheese party.

The sugar is really kicking in now -- will he be off of the sugar high by the time we post again??? Check back next Monday to see! Posted by Picasa

Big Birthday Bash!

Hayley had a great 2-year old celebration this past week. At school, there was wacky week with crazy hair day and pajama day. Saturday she partied all day and the rest of the weekend was filled with fun with cousin Kirk. The Big Blues Clues party was fun. What a treat to have cousin Kirk and Hayley's best friend Lily join her!!! We also had fun at a petting farm on Monday.

This week Hayley has started her new class at school and Cole continues to enjoy Kindergarten. We're looking forward to Lily's birthday party this weekend and Cole's first soccer game! Enjoy the week!

Crazy hair day at school -- there are 2 more pony tails on the back...

She's older now -- 2 years + 1day... So, she's hitting the road.

Who's the real turkey here?

With all this hot air, you woulda thought the wolf could've finally blown this house down!

Giddy up!

Tea for three, I guess. See you next week! Posted by Picasa
