Cole did great as usual in ski school. He skies pretty much any intermediate hill with confidence and tackled his first black diamond this trip! Hayley also loved skiing. She had so much fun in her lessons and her coach on Friday even had her mastering the snowplow and doing some turns!
This week Hayley started a new school. She's so thankful to have her buddy Andrew in her new class, but even so, Monday was a slow day and she was anxious to go when mom finally arrived. I'm sure she'll soon have everyone there under her thumb. I just hope she waits a week or two before she stages her coup.
Tuesday Hayley was back at ballet and had a good day there with her friends from her old school. Today we are enduring an ice storm with schools cancelled. My children are officially starting hour number 3 in front of the TV, so I better write quickly.
A big happy birthday goes out to GG who is 91 today!!! And we wish everyone a sugar-filled happy valentines day tomorrow. Enjoy the pics.
Hayley spent most of the vacation week dressed like this. She evidently thought we were going to the beach. She DOES have on wool ski socks though!!!
Cole heading back out for lesson #2 on Friday after a quick cocoa break.
Here's Hayley heading up. Never got any good close up shots of her...
It's hard to see -- but she is in a wedge and making controlled turns. This is great improvement over her first few days where she just headed straight down and the teachers had to catch her...
Hayley in the snowplow!
Cole and Hayley enjoyed some quality cousin time with Claire this week too!
See you next time!
