Last week Cole enjoyed an art camp in the mornings. The kids learned about different types of sculpture -- and especially how native americans used sculpture to create pots, beads, etc. Cole had a GREAT time and was excited to have the week end with a "gallery showing" for all the families.
This weeked was great -- John took four days and we had lots of fun. We hit fireworks (viewed from the car) on Saturday night. Sunday Cole had a sleepover with Adam and the boys had a great time as usual. Monday we hit the pool to cool off in the afternoon. Tuesday we did the local parade in the morning and had a great 4th.
That's all for now. A quiet week ahead. See you next week!

Cole proudly stands by his work at the art show.

Close up of the work -- the focus was on native american clay work.

They learned the slab, coil, and pinch and pull methods for creating pots.

Hayley is proud of her big brother's work!

Hayley is playing peek-a-boo with Andrew at the pool...

After a good swim lesson...

Just like mommy (notice the glasses on her head just like mom too...).

The boys only hide out -- replete with anti-girl weapon systems. I managed to get a press pass so I could get in to take a pic.

Getting ready for fireworks...

With (LARGE) bag in hand -- ready to collect candy at the parade.

AAAAHHHH....

A refreshing popsicle courtesy of a local realtor... Too bad they weren't handing out courtesy wash cloths after...

The heat has finally gotten to Cole. Happy fourth of July!
