Friends...friends...friends!

A lot of this week was spent with friends. Friday Adam and Andrew came for a visit in the morning and we all headed for the library together. Saturday Cole had a good ballgame in the morning. We finished off the day with dinner at a japanese steakhouse. Both Hayley and Cole were great and Cole enjoyed both hibachi chicken and SHRIMP!!! Can you believe? Sunday we had lunch with the grandparents and a dinner-time visit from Stuart, Marcy and Lily. They brought crabs for mom for dinner. It was great! (Unless you ask dad who insists that eating crabs is entirely too messy and takes WAY too long.) See you next week!


Adam and Andrew came to play Friday morning. Cole's frustrated with assembling the Lego boat...further supporting that he is undoubtedly John's child...

Water and Walks

Another great week is in the books. Hayley decided Wednesday that she too wants to ride Cole's motorcycle. She hopped right on pushed the pedal and went on her way. Of course steering hasn't been mastered yet, but talking on the CB sure has. Also on Wednesday Cole and Adam (and Hayley) tried to combat afternoon boredom by washing Mom's truck. They actually did a pretty good job!

Friday was warm (well, sort of) so we decided to spend time running through the sprinkler while Mom worked in the yard. Mom didn't get too much done, but Cole and Hayley sure had fun! They can't wait for summer when they can do that every day!!!

Saturday Cole had another baseball game and an afternoon birthday party. Sunday we met Mr. Stuart, Miss Marcy and Hayley's pal Lily for the Bay Bridge walk. Cole and John have agreed they will never do that again. Too many people for John and too BORING for Cole. At the end of the walk he declared that this was the WORST day of his LIFE!!! Oh the drama. This kid's life ain't too bad, is it? That's all for this week. See you next Sunday!
