Summer Fun...

The summer of 2008 is officially FLYING BY at our house. Sorry it's been so long since we posted!

After our Bahama trip we've been having fun with camps and lots of excursions! Cole has finished inventors camp (his perennial favorite), golf camp, football camp, and is in the midst of baseball camp this week. He's really loving it!

Two weeks ago we had a great visit with Uncle Rory, Aunt Rebekah, Kirk and Campbell. We had a good cookout, fun at the playground and a visit to the pool. Cole and Hayley are already excited for the next time they can play again with the boys.

Last weekend we made our annual trek to the farm to pick blackberries. As usual, our eyes were bigger than our tummies -- so we've got tons of blackberries we need to freeze or bake. As a fun side-trip, we noticed that the county fair had started the day we went to the farm. So on our way back we stopped and rode some rides and got to see a few of the junior horse jumpers (to Hayley's delight!). PLUS... In the biggest news of the day... Hayley was very brave and did her first pony ride. She loves horses, but has never been brave enough to ride. She rode a black pony named Opi -- it was a real milestone.

That's all for now -- hopefully I'll do better with posting in the coming weeks!!!

Watch out Hannah Montana.
