Birds, and Fish, and Dogs, oh my!

Sorry we missed last week! We have been keeping busy and having fun. Last weekend we enjoyed a visit with Gram and Grandad. We had dinner at the Japanese steakhouse where Cole devoured all his shrimp (and some of Gram's too!). Hayley kept everyone entertained during the meal with her usual stand up routine...

This weekend Cole had his first lacrosse game. As expected, he spent much of the game doing his ninja moves, but was pretty scrapppy and willing to jump right in to try to scoop up the ball when it came his way. Sunday we had fun walking around a nearby lake and finishing up by playing with Lily, Miss Marcy and "Uncle" Stuart.

We want to also say a BIG welcome to our newest cousin, Campbell. We are so excited to have him and looking forward to seeing him in person. Congratulations!

Cole spent time "fishing" for birds while Gram and Grandad visited. This is a stick with a crab apple attached.

More "fishing".

Hayley on her way to the library for a class and her weekly lot of books.

Pals.
See you next week!

Underwars

There's really not much else to say... except to remind you all that I have nothing to do with how they show up in these things!!! I just take the pictures.

Kids Gone Wild - Spring Break in Review

We've had a great week here. We covered a lot of ground and had tons of fun. Monday we had a great time playing and picnic-ing with friends Jay, Chantal and Ms. Diane. Hayley declared that it was the "bestest picnic ever!"

Tuesday we had tons of fun with cousin Jaela visiting from Illinois. While big brother Nolan was under the weather, Cole and Jaela did the park, lunch, mini-golf, ice cream and the pool. Whew! It was terrific and we all slept well that night!

Wednesday we went ice skating and Thursday we visited the Science Museum with friends. Friday we capped a super week off with a trip to see the new Ninja Turtles movie with buddy Andrew. Saturday we took it easy with just a short morning trip to the library and dinner out. Sunday we spent wading through the mounds of chocolate and cool stuff from the Easter bunny -- and finished off the day with dinner at Grandpa and Grandmoms.

Tomorrow it's back to reality. School for Cole and some rest for mom!!! Have a great week!

As promised - a shot of the lacrosse get-up.
Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down... (they just hit each other with sticks...)

Cole was inspired by the ninja turtles movie and he and Hayley decided to dress up on Friday. This is clearly a ninja costume. Not so sure which turtle Hayley thinks she is...see below...

Saturday we colored eggs.

The Easter morning loot. There was a basket, a Dora doll and 30 eggs for Hayley and a basket, Avatar airbender blaster, and 30 eggs for Cole.

The inventory.

Looking for eggs...

See you next week!
