This fall has been great so far - but very busy. So much going on around here. Cole is in 3rd grade and, of course, would rather be doing anything but be in school. If they just taught math while chasing a ball on a field, we might have a fighting chance? He's playing both flag football and fall baseball this year. He enjoys both, but baseball is always his "passion". ;) He's now in the kid-pitch league. He's also made the spring travel baseball team - so we're all very excited! (Ask me again in April how excited I am, though, when we're spending hours every weekend driving to games!) The recruiters feel he's got a pretty good arm, so he'll likely be pitching in the travel league too. His favorite is playing catcher -- but he does enjoy pitching as well.
Hayley is enjoying school as always. She is in a Kindergarten/1st grade class at the montessori school and loves her teacher Miss Ali. It's been great to be in the combined class because Hayley has been able to track with a bridge group that moves at an accelerated pace through the Kindergarten curriculum. She's also started piano lessons and has a reperatory class this weekend where she'll play a piece called "Halloween" for all of her teacher's students. (Don't get too impressed, the piece only uses 2 keys...) And, she'll be starting back with ice skating in a couple weeks as well.
Well I've written enough to put everyone to sleep for sure... So, without further ado - here's the one picture from this fall. (I've convinced myself that it's okay that I don't take pictures because I can't get caught up on photo albums - but yes, even I think this is lame!)
Hayley at a birthday party at a local farm. She still ADORES horses - especially white ones!
