If this were a show...we'd call it General Hospital!

Another fun week in the medical diaries of the little house on the prairie! Let's see....where to start... Hayley was sick again -- some type of stomach virus -- on Monday and Tuesday. We headed back to the doctor's office Tuesday evening since her fever reached 102.7. We determined it was just a virus -- but the ears remain infected too...so we had another round of antibiotics (if you're counting, this is round #4) and were headed for the pediatric ENT.

We saw the ENT on Friday. Her ears were FINALLY clear of infection -- but the fluid was still there. They did a test of the movement of the ear drum -- the best they can do for a hearing test in a 9 month old. It was terrible. They said the quality of her hearing is similar to what you'd hear if your head were under water... She hears sounds but nothing clearly. So he's going to see her back on the 16th for another test to see if she's cleared the fluid. If not - she'll get the tubes on the 21st. Keep your fingers crossed!

Cole finished his last day with Ms. Karen this week. He's moving now to the Rocking Rollers classroom and Ms. Megan as his teacher. It should be a fun summer for him.

Saturday we took a trip to Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania for John's cousin Chris's wedding. It was nice to see everyone in John's family -- it's been 3 or more years since we've seen them. We decided not to stay the night in the hotel but get the kids home to their own beds. So we had to leave the party before Cole could show off his cool moves on the dance floor. What a shame. Good thing we did though, because John's now feeling under the weather -- sort of similar to the bug Hayley had earlier in the week. Hopefully he'll shake it soon. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera!!! Cole and Hayley did oblige and get dressed back in their clothes this morning for a quick picture. They have bedhead -- but it's better than missing out all together!

Hayley and I took Cole to his baseball game. The temp was about 91 degrees -- even at 5:00 tonight. It was surely a hot one! Not too much planned for this week - hopefully we'll manage to avoid any medical expenses for a few days. See you next week!

Deep thoughts...Mainly wondering why she didn't get to taste the wedding cake!

Now wondering...when do I get to take this ridiculous hat off, Mom?

They were good sports to put the outfits back on Sunday morning since Mom forgot the camera...don't think for a second that there wasn't a bribe involved here. But it explains the bedhead...

Yo ho ho and a bottle of...formula?

Cole is sporting his new bike helmet and knee and elbow pads -- Power Rangers! He's also got the vintage X-Wing fighter that Gram and Grandad brought Saturday. It was John's from 25 years ago!

Cole decides to use Hayley as the hat rack during his baseball game. That's okay though, because Hayley is using Cole's glove as a teething toy.

Guess that one was a bunt...

It is SOOOO darn hot!!!

Next weeks the last game -- see you then! Posted by Hello
